Canyon Stomp features the rhythm section with its catchy samba-Latin groove and Dixieland accelerando section at the end. While it isn’t too difficult to play, it has a great melodic, harmonic, and rhythmic flow and is guaranteed to get your toe tapping.

Exhilarate is a piece filled with glorious brass lines and beautiful woodwind melodies inspired by a bike ride through Garden of the Gods. It balances between delicate riffs and intense choruses and is a very entertaining piece for all.

Based off of a philosophy of Joseph Campbell, Bliss tackles the joy and struggle of pursuing one’s passion and destiny. Bliss has a Birdland-like feel, contemporary chord progressions, and catchy melodies.

Subtitled with the English translation “Land of the Long White Cloud,” Aotearoa is a love song for my native country, New Zealand. This piece features contemporary lines and harmonies as well as Maori folk songs and the New Zealand national anthem, “God Defend New Zealand.”

Twilight Dance is a brilliant piece set in 5/4 time that is inspired by gypsy folk music. Giving old traditional rhythms and melodies a contemporary revamp, this piece features flowing woodwind lines, bold brass sections, and creative rhythm section moments.
