About Tuturu Music
"Tuturu" is a Maori word that means "natural." It is the belief and philosophy of the composition team at Tuturu Music Publishing that music, regardless of what the intended ensemble or audience is, should be pure and meaningful.
Originally titled "The Great New Zealander Songbook," Tuturu Music started in 2006 as a collection of jazz songs and evolved into being a publication company in 2009. It has now grown into a composer collective and boasts a diverse range of literature for chamber ensembles, concert bands, orchestras, choirs, and jazz ensembles of all ages. Tuturu Music acts as a label and vessel for new and upcoming composers to get exposure and promote their musical works.
